Al Meezan Investment Management Limited (Al Meezan) is one the most important asset management organization in Pakistan with over 26 years of track report in managing investments on behalf of individuals and institutions. Incorporated on 27th February 1995, it is a joint project of Meezan Bank Limited (the biggest Islamic Bank in Pakistan) and Pakistan Kuwait Investment Company Private Limited (PKIC).
Al Meezan is registered under Non Banking Finance Companies (Establishment and Regulation) Rules, 2003 and Non Banking Finance Companies (Establishment and Regulation) Rules, 2003 and Non-Banking finance Companies and Notified Entities Regulation 2008, with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to hold on the business of asset control and investment advisory under the said Rules. As an Investment Adviser, Al Meezan is allowed to manage discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios on behalf of clients. It has also been certified as Pension Fund Manager to manage Voluntary Pension Funds under Voluntary Pension System Rules, 2005.
