American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift’s song “Our Song” comes off her self-titled debut studio album. (2006). In her ninth grade year, Swift penned “Our Song,” a song about a young couple who use everyday happenings to write their own songs, for a high school talent show.
The song was on the track list because she knew her pupils would enjoy it. Big Machine Records issued it as the third single from the album on September 10, 2007. “Our Song” is a fast-paced banjo-driven country song with drums and fiddles that Nathan Chapman produced.
