Just days after Bebe Rexha was attacked on stage, singer Ava Max claims she is recovering after being slapped by a fan while she was playing in Los Angeles.
A concertgoer stormed the stage when the 29-year-old pop star was performing on Tuesday and smacked her, as seen in a video of the incident shared on social media.
As the performer was being escorted off stage by security, an unidentified individual was seen reaching towards him and hitting Max in the face. According to the video, Max responds to the song but keeps performing.
The performer acknowledged that the attack left her eye hurt and that the stage rushed had been barred from future performances.
After the incident, Max tweeted, “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye.” “Thank you to the fans for being incredible tonight in LA though! He’s never coming to a show again.”Scooter Braun, a music industry producer, shared a picture of Max backstage clutching a beer bottle over her wounded eye on his Instagram stories.
Just days prior, during a Sunday night concert in New York City, audience member smacked singer Bebe Rexha in the face with a phone.
Police claim that when the singer was giving a performance at Pier 17, Nicolas Malvagna, 27, reportedly hurled a cell phone at her. Malvagna was apprehended by police at the spot. He was subsequently accused of assault.
Rexha shared two images on Instagram on Monday that showed her suffering from a black eye and an injury close to her eyebrow.
She captioned the picture, “I’m good.
