One of the stars of US reality show Teen Mom has shared how grateful she feels that she and her family survived after claiming their car was ‘sh*t at 13 times’ while her kids were inside.

In 2017, Cheyenne Floyd –who has two children aged five and 15 months joined the cast of Teen Mom OG, which was replaced this year by a new MTV series called Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. This week, the new season of the show premiered, with the first episode revealing a terrifying ordeal that Cheyenne and her fiancé Zach Davis went through.

Speaking on the programme, Zach remembered how they were in the vehicle when his partner spotted a ‘green beam’ on his face.

He’s been here at Chy’s house. There are pictures with him and all of a sudden you start hearing shots. He hit the car 13 times and we crashed into the back of a Prius.

Cheyenne, who’s now 29 years old, said it was a ‘miracle’ that everyone in the car, which included her, Zach, her daughter Ryder and son Ace, were ok after the incident.‘God literally covered us that day because every cop who was there said they don’t understand how we are all alive,’ she said.

In April last year, Cheyenne and Zach announced their engagement, with the couple set to wed later this month.A few months after they became engaged, Cheyenne posted a loved-up picture of them both on Instagram, writing in the caption: ‘Still can’t believe I get to marry my best friend.
