Banko Brown case footage released this video trending on Twitter and other social media platform like Twitter and Youtube.
On Monday, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office revealed a number of documents and recordings related to the shooting murder of Banko Brown at a Walgreens last month by a security officer.
The district attorney’s office declared that there is insufficient proof to press charges against the security officer after making the documents and video public.
The roughly minute-long altercation between Brown and security guard Michael Earl-Wayne Anthony that preceded the incident is captured on the Walgreens security camera footage.
When Brown reaches the store’s exit, Anthony confronts him about the stolen goods in Brown’s bag.
After pushing and shoving Brown, Anthony punches him repeatedly, drags him to the ground, and restrains him for a while.
Anthony told police in a recorded interview that he had promised to free Brown if he calmed down. Anthony draws his revolver as Brown picks up the bag and starts to leave after letting go. Later on, Brown turns to face Anthony once more. Anthony then raises his rifle and starts shooting.
