Governor refused the Walgreens
Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, today declared that his state will STOP doing business with Walgreens. Following Walgreens’ refusal to offer abortion drugs in 20 states where they are still Lawful, this has happened.
I have no problem with Newsom threatening Walgreens to restore people’s rights if Republicans want to scare the pharmacy with stripping them away—especially if those rights are Lawful ones.Republicans trying to control what private companies do is getting on my nerves. It’s time for Democrats to respond violently against their fascism. I request the same thing from the other governors.
Walgreens stop selling abortion pills
Walgreens decided to stop selling the abortion pills.Gavin Newsom recently declared that California will no longer do business with Walgreens because they decided to stop selling the abortion pill in GOP states, and Michael Moore has just called for a national boycott of the pharmacy chain. Walgreens might reconsider their position if all Democrats in the country made the decision to shop at CVS, Walmart, Target, and Costco instead.
