The fight happened at the Riverfront just next to the water. One man swam across the river towards the brawl and is now trending on social media with several nicknames, including Michael B. Phelps, Shaquille O’Gills, and Aquamayne. Montgomery police confirmed four active warrants with the possibility of more, plus several who were detained with pending charges.
The fight between a group of individuals and a man, who appeared to be a dockworker, was captured on video around 7 p.m. by onlookers aboard a nearby boat at Riverfront Park.
The woman recording the video can be heard saying that a worker was moving a black pontoon boat that had docked after the apparent owners were boat in that area.
