The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan is a regulatory college set up in 1962 through a special act of the Parliament of Pakistan to supervise the postgraduate medical education and expert development.
It gives certifications following postgraduate education in specialties of medicine, surgery and dentistry. It is the best postgraduate medical analyzing body in Pakistan
college was set up in 1962 via an act of parliament and through the untiring efforts of fifty eminent physicians in Pakistan below the management of Wajid Ali Khan Burki, then Federal Minister of Health.
In 1965, the Library of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan turned into set up and because its inception has received modern medical literature and served as a focus in helping postgraduate medical education.
